It’s a June that feels like April. Lots of storms rolling in and to find a good session time can be hit or miss. Luckily we stuck with our original session date and found one free of rain. It was an afternoon being handed the most beautiful color palette nature could give. It was so fun photographing Peter’s portraits while working with the deep greens and blues that filled our background from ground to sky.
I remember family history not by names or dates but by faces, personalities, and stories. I guess that’s how my brain works. So when asked to create for a senior at their grandparent’s farm with both his grandpas’ tractors I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate generations that this session represents.

She is a kind creative who has a big heart for her family and her animals. We spent the most beautiful afternoon at Carsyn’s family farm.
My favorite part was hearing stories about the memories of the farm and photographing Carsyn with her horses. The light was magical and she was in her element. I am very honored to have captured this time in her life and so excited to see all that her future holds.
This session is near and dear to my heart because three years ago today this sweet girl became my sister and I cannot believe that she is going to be a senior! Very proud of her and so excited for all her future holds. Have an amazing senior year Hannah!
