The purpose of every session is not to be like any other session. I always strive to create each session around the individual or family I am photographing. When the session is shaped around the personalities and interests of a person there is no way of replicating a session, which I love!Continue reading

I often take for granted the amazing opportunity it is to be able to take a camera anywhere. I’m not bound to a specific place and can explore and create in so many different landscapes. Such a great blend having the woods and the water all in one location and then to be able to pair that right with their backyard was an awesome combo.
Shout out to Niles for an awesome session and also your keen eye for light in location scouting. Also to Lisa (Niles’ mom & my auntie) for being such an great help in making this session amazing.
New discovery, I love photographing people with their pets. Whether it’s the fleet of cute kitties following us around, a ride on horseback, or snuggle time with your pup I love it all, and am so excited to share all this and more in Christian’s senior session.
A northern Minnesota adventure with Jessica, hiking through the woods, walking through fields of flowers, and even climbing around on a bridge. If I was to describe her I would say casual and fearless.
Casual in the way she goes with the flow with “whatever” being her favorite catch phrase. She is also quite the fearless one, crossing on top of logs and climbing around like a gymnast all in crocs none the less. One of her goals is to own a pair of crocs in every color, and I think she is well on her way with the start of her 14 pair collection.
I had so much fun photographing and hope you enjoy a look into Jessica’s senior session.
It’s a June that feels like April. Lots of storms rolling in and to find a good session time can be hit or miss. Luckily we stuck with our original session date and found one free of rain. It was an afternoon being handed the most beautiful color palette nature could give. It was so fun photographing Peter’s portraits while working with the deep greens and blues that filled our background from ground to sky.
